New Hampshire

We had a great time racing up at New England Dragway. Made 2 great passes on Saturday. Made them just before the rain came down. It was good to see all our friends. We to dinner with some of them to hang out and catch up on each other. Jim and I went whale watching on Friday, just got to see 3 whales, 2 sharks they were little ones. Lots of dolphins with white and yellow stripes. Heading up north to the cottage, then to Illinois can't wait to see the kids. Hoping that T.T. will be back from Afghanistan to see her. Hi, I sure hope that everyone has been good. We have been doing so much running around that sometimes we just go crazy. We are in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. heading to cross into Canada today. We were racing in U.S. 131 , MI... Then, we were in Petrosky,MI. spend a day there. Off to Mackinac Island we spend 2 days there went to the Fort on the island. To a carriage ride tour ( lucky Maverick didn't blow up from the horses) stop to see the arched rock. Checked out the museum of the Iron workers that built the bridge. So Much Going On !!

Sorry folks for slacking on the blog. There has been so much going on for the last few months. I have really put my heart and Jim's heart to work with the orphanage "manosdeamor.com" or better become friends with us on face book "Manos de Amor". Jim as become the official maintenance man there. Doing odd ball job like repair all the bike flat tires. Replace light bulbs, weld computer desk for the new computer room. Made some welded stands to hang the tables out of the way. We had a big cocktail party to raise some funds for the big fund raiser that we had in February. In February we had the Big Rhythm & Rib Fest to raise money to get a good used van for all the kids to fit in inside. Now they just have a little pickup and the girls are inside and the boys are outside. I have been going whale watching this year quit often. Then Jim and I went on a 5 day trip to visit San Luis Potosi & Zacatecas Mexico. Now that we are here we need to see more of Mexico. This is a good way to do it with lots of good friends. Now March is here and the whales will be heading back to Canada & Alaska so I have to go see them more often before they leave. We have family and friends coming in this month to visit. We will be leaving a little bit early we have a race in May. The time will go by real quick now !! DARN !! :( Well folks happy belated Happy New Year, Happy Birthday, Happy Valentines Day !! We have been very busy with Mano's De Amor (the orphanage) with the posada's (Christmas parties). Been working with the school doing arts and crafts, handing out school supplies. Sunday did a lot of walking, went with Maria to walk the precision of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We took the bus into town and then had to walk about 31/2 miles to the church. Then, had to walk about 11/4 mile to the bus stop to come back home. My poor dogs were just barking away. Got home about 3 p.m. then had to get ready to go help with the Mano's de Amor with the posada. We had a great time lots of food, drinks, music & children !!! So today is the day to rest and relax. We don't have to worry about keeping warm here because, the weather is great here. But, you my friends stay warm and talk to you later !!!! Jim and WW

Things Have been very busy here, we have doing a lot with Mano's De Amor the orphanage. There are 19 children now and lots of fiesta have been going on for them. Trying to get ready for 2 of the big fundraisers for them. The 1st one is in January " The Cocktail Party" and in February " Rhythm and Ribs". Now I am working with the little school making Christmas ornaments 86 children there. Will be fun, reminds me of my kids when we made the ornaments from school and to think we still have them. Getting ready for Thanksgiving. Making the traditional turkey dinner with 16 friends here in Mexico. This will be our 5Th year of sitting with our friends. Been busy with Mano's DE Amor ( kids from the orphanage) we have lots going for them. Christmas parties from different business. Making arts and crafts for invitations to the cocktail party. The other day I went with my friend Maria and her daughters to visit her dad. Then he took us to the river to go swimming. It was really nice, clean and clear. But, boy was it COLD but after you were in it felt good. More time to play !!!! Jim and I went to the beach the other day. Had a great time there. I was the only one who went in the water. Jim only likes to go and sit in the sun. So, I had to be like a kid and go find a friend. Yep !! I did met some lady's that were on vacation for the week. They lived about 10 hours away and where going to different beaches on the way back home. We went to our friend Adolph's 75Th birthday party. We started there at 3p.m. and didn't leave till 11:30... Had a great time laughing, dancing, singing. the weather is great about the mid 80's. Well my friends be happy and talk to you later. Jim and WW

So Much Going ON!!!

We are now in Mexico !!!! We crossed the border on the November 1st it took us 3 days to get here. We had a great trip coming down NO problems on the road. We have been cleaning the house, its very dusty from all the dirt around here. Then, had to get our clothes out of storage. Took the comforters to the orphanage along with all the shoes, book bags, sheets, socks, underwear. It was so great to see how happy they were to get new things. The kids just wanted to show me how well they fit them. In return we get lots of HUGS and KISSES. Been going out with our friends to different party's. Our neighbor had his 75Th birthday party. We had a great time there. The party started at 3p.m. and then didn't get do till 12. Lots of dancing, singing talking to catch up with everyone. The weather is fantastic here its been about 77-82.. Oh My I guess it has been a month since the last time I wrote on here. At this moment we are on the hi way heading to San Antonio,TX. to visit my mom and aunt. Then we will be heading to Mexico!!!! We have been in Georgia with April and the grand kids. Helping April out and getting things organize for next year race season. Took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese yesterday. We had a great time !! I did too.. Chucky is my best friend as my brother would always tell me that he was my ONLY friend. We are packed to the hilt with stuff for the orphanage and the school that I help. All I can ask is the God keep us in his hands to take us down there safe and sound. So, that the kids can get the things that we have for them. I am excited to see them all. We now have 21 at the orphanage and the oldest girl is blind. We are taking some braille books for her. So will try to keep up again on the travels and things going on with us. My 1st baby girl is on her trip for Afghanistan for a whole year.. She will be missed by all the family, we have prayers following her the whole time she is gone to have her be safe over there. Getting Ready!!

Not much has been going on, other then taking it easy at looking real close to see what has to go to Mexico. We will be loaded down this year. My BIG PROJECT of get 24 people to donate $18.00 to purchase new comforters for the kids at the orphanage has gone great. The comforters are here and talk about lots of boxes. Have to order space bags to pack them. Repack school supplies, get bikes ready to load. Oh and get our clothes packed to.. Been hanging out with the kids, went to Maverick 1st football game they won 27 to 14. It was a good game they had to kick to head coach out from the other team. He was not a good boy !!! Just sets bad example for the kids. We went to church on Sunday then to breakfast. The babysitter took Delani to the circus, April and Maverick went to 6 Flags. So, Jim and I were alone!! I dropped him off at home to watch the football game and I took off to go shopping for stuff to take to Mexico. The weather is very hot here so you have to work in the morning or in the later evening. So stay cool my friends and talk to you later. Jim & WW

Long Time !!

Well it's been a long time since I wrote. Badd Girl !!! Lots has been going on we raced at Cordova. April, Maverick & Delani flew in, for Maverick to race his Jr. Dragster & to have Delani's 2 year old birthday. My stars how time flies. We had a great time the weather was great. We got to see lots of fans had time to spend with all the family. The grand kids are just getting so big !! We had fun with the other racers, it's been a year the last time that we were here.. After, Cordova we then came back to Canada for the last race up here for the Labor Day weekend. The weather wasn't that great ! It rained and rained.. We able to get 1 run in and then getting ready almost at the line to get the 2ND one in , and then it started coming down like cats & dogs. We closed up our summer cottage for the winter, till next year.. We are now visiting our friends before we leave to go back to the states. We must now close up our Canada home for the winter.. hee hee We will be heading out today for the states. So will be a few days before I get to post and let you know what's going on.. I'm Sick and Tried, Tried and Sick !!!!

I have been sick for about 10 days, Thought I could treat myself, well I screwed up. Went to Tiffany's going away party on Sunday, we came home and my back pain was getting worst. So Sunday at wee hours of the morning had to go potty several times during the night. In the morning when there was light I saw blood. Told, Jim guess we better go to the Dr... Dr. said that either i had a bladder or kidney infection. Or, could be kidney stones, gave me medicine to try and clear it up, If I get a fever, or nausea go to the E.R... Well Tuesday night had a temp of 104 at 9 p.m. So they ran test and still have me here in the hospital, to try and clear this infection off. Started with a yeast infection, then went to the bladder waited to long and moved to the kidneys. Took pictures of kidneys now need to see if I have kidney stones & hopefully get release tomorrow. Please pray that I get better !! Sorry for the sad news, but, please stay cool and hope to see you all soon. Jim & WW

New England Dragway ,Epping,N.H.

Hi All, We got into Epping,N.H. on Monday afternoon (8-2-10) relaxed, then went into Boston,Ma. on Tuesday. Had a great time visiting all the different places. Saw "Ironside" the U.S.S. Constitution ship, went to the CHEERS bar and saw the actually set. Took a tour then a tour on the water. Wednesday was laundry day. Rented a couple of movies from Red Box. Thursday we went whale watching it wasn't that great because it started to rain. I think its best to go see them in the morning to see them, because they weren't out very much. Friday went to Wal-Mart to get supplies for us and shop for my kids at the orphanage. Saturday we had a great day racing, lots of fans came out to see all the cars. Sunday went whale watching again, it was better. Saw a Blue whale breech it was great to see. There are only 400 left in the world. The water was very choppy so it was hard to take pictures. Oh my it has been a long time writing here I don't like it when I don't have Internet. We have been to Elliott Lake, Ontario, Napierville, Quebec, and now back to the cottage in Luskville. Have to post pictures on line. It was nice to see all our friends at the tracks that we have been to. Some sad moments to let friends know about Brother Bob passing away.. But, had lots of good times remember him. Today is the 3rd month that he has been gone now. This weekend is going to be real busy. Maverick is heading home soon so trying to get all the friends together to get they last play dates. Maverick got his 1st win in his Jr dragster at Napierville. Hope he does real good this weekend. Heading for Elliott Lake, Ontario

Just got done with supper dishes, everyone is showered, and closed up the cottage here in Luskville, Quebec.. Will be leaving about 7a.m. to head for Elliott Lake, Ontario. Went to the movies today to see "Despicable Me", that was a cute movie. I guess this will be another to add to my collection to watch with my grand kids. That is the greatest time that I get with them. The other day Maverick want to watch Sound of Music & Oliver.. 2 of many of favorites. I remember when my kids were little they would always sing " I'll do Anything for You Dear Anything" when they wanted something or just to make me happy !! Went to a super Wal-mart and out to eat at a Boston Pizza yesterday.. It was good. Had to tell our friends that we would see them in 2 weeks when we come back here to the cottage. Meet the Queen & Prince

Today was a great day we saw the Queen Elizabeth & Prince Albert. The Queen unveiled a jazz singers statue. She is visiting her Thursday, Friday, Saturday. It was pretty cool to see her. Poor Jim is complaining that i took to many pictures. Huh !!!! Hush up Fat Head !!! We also saw the Snow Birds fly by several times. Thank was good Jim was in 7Th heaven then... HI Everyone we are now in Luskville, got here Friday it was nice then it rained in the evening. It rained this morning but it as quite still a little cloudy. It will clear up later in the afternoon. We were in Osgoode, Ontario at our friends Paolo & Shannon helped them move to the new house. We went to see Toy Story 3 on Tuesday. That was a GREAT show i will buy it when it comes out. Went to the library to use the computer for a little while. Your only aloud1 hour. We went Thursday to watch the Royal Canadian Mountie Police. It was good they had equestrian horses, drug dog looking at the luggage's for drugs. Then the horses were doing a show like a musical carousel. It reminded me of all the horse show that i went with Tiffany. Had a fantastic time. Hope that everyone is doing great. Will talk to you all later. Jim & WW

Grand Bend, Ontario

We got into Grand Bend last night. We were at London, Ontario we displayed the car at the Canadian Tire. It rained in the morning But farmer Jim said that was o.k. " Rain before 7 done by 11" O.k. it was about 11:30 rolled the car out and it was a bit cloudy but no rain. We visited our friends there Jarda and the kids. Maverick had a good time with them. They are going to come on Sat or Sun to the races. Went on Tuesday to the movies ( that's bargain day ) to see Iron man 2. What will we see next Tuesday???? Can't wait to get racing. Brother Bob

Today is a very sad day for our family today. My brother "Bob" passed away this morning to be with the Lord our God. . May he rest in peace !!! We will never forget him, he will be in our hearts forever. It will be very ruff this year racing without him.. He was planning to head up with us Saturday to go racing this year. Howdy we are in Texas, Heading to Georgia. We left Thursday the 15Th to head back to the states. Drove half way to San Luis Potosi stopped at the truck stop there to sleep. Left the next morning and crossed the border about 5:30 p.m.. Spent the night at the Flying J.. woo hoo so romantic. Left early to San Antonio to see my mom & aunt spent the day with them. Bob took us out to eat at a Golden Corral, then he dropped us off at Walmart. We rented a movie and went to bed. Got up early this morning and now on the road again. Not sure if we are going all the way to Georgia or stop at Walmart and see another movie. hee hee That's 1 thing we like is to see the Red Box so we can see new movies. Fiesta & Iguana's

Hola, Well Jim has started the count down for us to go back. Sunday we went to a birthday party for our friend Margo, she said it was her 15Th b-day. hahaha Monday we went to the San Vicente fiesta with all the bands, dancers, fireworks. We all danced went taco bouncing, walked the flea market. We were there till 3 in the morning. Had lots of fun !!! Tuesday we were dragging butt. Didn't do much of anything then that evening we went to Philos a restaurant that was having all you can eat ribs for 100.00 peso it was a fun raiser for a senior center to help who can't afford medicine. Thursday we went into town to see our friends to tell them we will see them in November. And on the way to the car we saw these big Iguana's. Today had to go to the doctor I have infection in my throat so i had to get a shot this morning, then go at 5:30 for another. Now, i have to go again at 9a.m. for 1 more (ouch) !!!!! Jim is very happy because i can't talk. He's telling me "WHAT i CAN'T Hear You" .. He is so Baaadd !!! Well my friends stay warm or cool. Talk to you later.. Happy Easter !!!!! Hope that everyone has a Hoppy Easter, we don't have the grand kids here this year. So, it's kind of low key more of all we are sad because we get NO PEEPS !!!! I think that's what we miss most... Na just kidding !!!! Went to church there weren't very many people there today because we jumped the hour ahead. And the people who go by mountain time had to jump 2 hours. So there weren't many at church. They probably forgot and partied all night & forgot about the change. Hola my gosh i best get on the stick and write a little more. Lets see on Saturday we were suppose to go whale watching but, it was canceled so now i have to wait till august in N.H. to see them again. Went out to dinner with some friends of ours. Then after dinner. We came home and waited an hour or so then went to the night club to watch some Tango dancing. Sunday we went to a baptism. Church started at 12 then after the hour. We had the christening mass 36 baby's it was 1 1/2 hours to do all of them. Today was girls day out only 2 of us went because their husbands wouldn't let them go. But we had a good time we went to the movies we saw " The book of Eli" it was o.k... then came home to make supper for us. Oh yeah here are the woodpeckers that have been pecking on poor Delila in the morning. Jim covered the mirrors up with some cloth so they wouldn't attack her, but they still do. River Trip

On Sunday we went with our friends on a river trip about 2 hours inland. Had to go through mountains, woods, and the river. We went swimming in the river it was real clear. The guys went fishing, while we went swimming. We had a cook out of meat and when the fish came then we had a fish fry. Had a fantastic time. Today was girls day out, we went to the movies . We saw the movie with Mel Gibson ( over the edge) i think. But , it was very good. Came home and my love made another piece of furniture. Well hope all is well for everyone. I am hoping that this is going to work now. There has been much going on since the last update. I have been going whale watching every Tuesday the baby are jumping now. Been busy with the fundraiser for the "Manos de Amor" the orphanage. We baked Tuesday - Friday. Saturday the 20Th was the big day. We had a big success it had lots of supporters. Thank You all very very much !! On the 24Th we took a trip to Guadalajara to go on a shopping trip. Had a great time there. Need to go again to pick up more things that we would like to have. Whales, Sunset & Zip Lining

It has been fantastic Monday we went whale watching. Got to see about 8 different whales. I just wanted to jump in and good swimming with them. Jim says that I'm crazy. Tuesday went to pita Mita beach had a great time there. Then we went to the malecon to see the night life. Lots of lights, people different things going on. On Wednesday had a great time at the fundraiser for the orphanage. Had lots of people there, with lots and lots of food. Friday my friend Maureen came in from Illinois. We have been having a great time. Took here to the beach and then on many bus rides all over the town. Today we went on a bus ride that took us way back to the mountains and to tin buck too. We got to see lots of back country. The weather has been a little raining and cool. Tomorrow we are going whale watching have to get up early in the morning. The 24Th went to 10p.m. mass, it was great, They had the posada play on. The kids and Joseph and Mary were out side the church singing for a place to sleep. The people inside the church sang to let them in to have a place to stay. They came in and Mary was on a real burro that came into the church !!! That was exciting. You would never see that in that the states. We then came home and went to bed. Christmas day got up and opened presents, then went to the beach. Sunday went to church, then to Chuy and Chipna for breakfast. We stayed there for a while for the party of the town get together. Monday went to the beach with Andes 1 of Maverick's friends here in the neighbor. This time we went to the 1 in Puerto Vallarta. The gay beach. Came home so everyone but, me wanted to watch football. Tuesday Jim stayed home to do a cage on a pickup for a friend and the kids and i went to the beach. We then came home and went to the circus. It was really good. Lots of animals there. Today is a day of rest. And MAYBE laundry don't hold your breathe. Jim and WW

Too Many Fiesta's !!!!

No Whining Allowed about Fiesta's !!! We picked up April Maverick and Delani at the airport on 17. Friday we went to school about 10 am for the fiesta there. Played games and ate and gave away the bikes. Saturday had our block Christmas party for the neighbor hood. Sunday went to church, ate at Wayland's, Then went to Gustvo's and Chuy's to have a b.b.q... Monday was the Grand Opening for the orphanage. Helped Veronica get things ready, was there from 11-6:30. Had lots of fun. Tuesday was my baby girls birthday. We went to Irma's for Jim to do some work there. He built some shelf's for her. But before this we went to the beach and had a great time there.. I made 5 watermelon baskets for the different party's the more practice the faster i get. And today is a time for rest a little. Thank goodness.

Today was girls day out. We went out for breakfast and then to the movies. We saw I think it was Old Dads with John and Robin it was hilarious !!! We laughed our butts off. Dave and Sandra with Nikki came in on Wednesday from Alaska. We had a great time with them, took them to the Mexican fiesta at the ranch. Then another Christmas party at our friends. The lights went out on the block so we kind of had it with candle light. Sandra danced with lots of our friends. We then went down to the malecon to walk there. Went to the pirate ship cruise last night. Had a great time... Took them to the marina to walk around there eat lunch then went to the airport. We have just been doing some little touch ups here at the house. We have family coming in on Wednesday. It will be exciting, for them to be coming it is their 1st time here. I went out last Wednesday with the girls on our girls day out. We tried a new restaurant in PTO. Vallarta, the food was great and they gave us a lot. We were so full that we could not finish it all. Been doing to much around here that we need visitors to get a break. It rained here the other day all night it was hard to believe. But, at least it was cool for the day. Hi we are safe and sound in Mexico. Had a great Thanksgiving with friends. Today was Diamond Jim's birthday. Made him a great brunch. Everything is good here, it was all in tack. We had a great trip down here. There are a lot of stores and restaurants closed due to the economy. But, hopefully things will pick up soon for them down here. We left Effingham,IL. and then stopped in Paducah,Ky... Stopped at Wal-mart to get soup and watch my soap, then Jim was able to take a nap. I goofed around the town there to see what was around. Gone about 3 hours. That gave my love time to sleep. We left and then went to the E. side of Nashville,Tn... Pulled into the TA for the night so we could watch Dancing with the Stars. On the Road Again to head South

We got the car body fixed and back. Wanted to make a pass over the weekend it rained. Till Sunday went to Cordova to start the car, it was a beautiful day. Car sounds real good and looks good. We packed up everything on Monday from all the places we had stuff at. We got out of Dodge (Sterling,IL) it was just getting to cold, we have no winter clothes. Jim is sick along the way, so we will take our time to get to April's. Our bodies are use to the temperature's of 66 - 86 degrees and it was colder then that. We feel like the Mexican when we go down there. The weather is 68 - 72 degrees and they have winter coats with gloves and hats. And us in pants with t-shirts. Our blood is very thin now. We are heading to Georgia to see April and the grand kids. Then about the 25Th we start heading down to Mexico. Yeah !!!! So my friends start to stay warm or cool, don't know what you have. Tuesday stayed at home while Jim went to work on the car. Then cam to pick me up and we hung out together running errands and grabbed something to eat. Watched Dancing with the Stars. Working to get ready to head down south

I made a long trip to go see Holly in Colorado. She had a lot of work to do for her officer training class. I took Mini and Carmen to bingo while Holly was at class. Then we would take her out to eat. Mini and Carmen stayed at the hotel and i sleeped at Holly's apartment. We went to see the Garden of the Gods and to the Air Force Academy to see the chapel. It was just beautiful. check pictures on shutterfly. We were they till Thursday p.m. , then we left to go to Branson,Mo. We visited Carmen's brother there. Stayed 1 night and went to breakfast. Then left to come back to Sterling. Jim wanted me back so we could go to Grant's baptism on Sunday. Got home on Saturday night, then got up the next morning to go to Lincoln for the baptism. We then headed home grabbed a bit to eat. We came home to Delila and just chilled out. Today Jim went to Chadwick to work on the car and i stayed home. He came home and then took me to run some errands. So now we are watching Dancing with the Stars. Stay comfortable my friends. WW

Colorado

Not much is going on, other then i left for Colorado to come see Holly. Saturday Jim and i went to the parade in Sterling. Did a little laundry for both of us to have clothes while i am gone. Jim and i went to church on Sunday and then breakfast. I left with Mini and Carmen for the road trip. Jim left to Karren's to put up fence. Right this very minute i am sitting at the bingo hall watching Mini and Carmen play while i get to do stuff on the computer. They have had a little snow here. Tuesday i went with Mini and Carmen to Peru to Big Lots to shop for some Red Hat stuff. They dropped me off then Jim wanted me to help him with the car. With all the fiberglass and smoke in the garage just kicked my asthma in big time. Thought we were going to make a trip to the e.r.. Today we went to Cordova to see Scott and Laura got Maverick's plague says " CDP 56 World Series Start of the 3rd Generation. " I guess that's great because he has the only Crownhart car that is able to race. Then we stopped to see Mike to get some Jr. dragster spare parts. Saturday Jim worked on the body of the car. I didn't do to much, still trying to get rid of this cold. Had to run some errands and hit a few rummage sales. Then went to my friend Isabel's to pick up some bikes that she got for me. Took them to the bike guy to check them out and made a deal with him to get 3 more bikes from him at the end on the month. Sunday we went to church then to breakfast. Came home to drop Jim off to work on the body again! Mini and I went to Chicago to go see Tiffany. Saw her apartment, cute place. I am so proud that she decided to get it. She took us to a Whole Wheat store Mini went nuts in there. Then we went to meet some of her friends and had a good time there. Too Much Going On !!!!

How do i start? April, Maverick and Delani made it in on Wednesday 11:30 p.m. took them to Cordova. Thursday and Friday went to Sterling to get some things done and get groceries for the weekend. Maverick had to start racing early Saturday a.m. that was good he was getting antsy about racing. We were getting ready for our 1st run Saturday night . We ran Dan, at the end of the run Jim flew by the end of the track and into the sandpit. Only about 160 m.p.h. Dan had taken out Jim's chute and he didn't know till it was to late, for the reverse to pop out sooner. Rolled the car over and did damage to it. Luckily Dan took out the chute because it saved him from hitting the wall head on, but broad sided it instead. He totally out his car. But, we have to must damage that we can't go to Canada this weekend ( that sucks it was going to be a great weekend to).They are both fine and the safety crew did an excellent job on getting the guys out. Sunday Maverick won 1 and 2 round in the Jr dragster but, couldn't make 3rd round because they had to catch the plane back to Georgia. Stayed at Cordova till Monday p.m. then came to Sterling to clean the chassis on the car. Then left Thursday to the Quad Cities to get the chassis fixed. Had a few things to fix on it, more then what we thought. Now its fixed, have to get the engine cleaned and fix the body. So, now we are in Sterling again to do some more work to it, so we can get going racing again. Just love that Gypsy life. So may friends will try to keep up on this. Stay cool Jim and WW

Got back Tuesday and things have been crazy since. Wednesday went to lunch with the girls from walmart. For supper went out with Ernie and Shelly. Thursday took Delila to Tampico to get the oil change and tune up. Went to Polo to meet a friend to make some letters but never call so ate at Polo restaurant. Jim stay with Delila and i spent the day with my lovely sister that i miss very much. Even though i talk to her every day. Friday i went to a few sales not much has Jim says ( did you find something that you can't live without) next time i will leave him at home. We then went out to eat with Ed and Linda in Oregon at the steak house. That is a very nice place to go. So today we will be going to the Whiteside county fair to demolition derby with the boys and grand kids. This will be nice. Stay cool my friends Jim and WW

I like it when we come back then i have Internet all the time. In Canada its hit or miss. Friday i had it for awhile then they moved us and could get a darn thing. So, i had to go all weekend without. The track at Shannonville was a motorcycle track also, it was a cute little track but the good thing was that we were done running early by 5:30p.m... That was fantastic then we had the rest of the evening to us. We are heading back to Sterling to get some work done on Delila. Then to Cordova to race there, and back to Canada. I am so Happy, Happy that for a little track they have wi-fi here. We drove here yesterday. It was only about 3 hours to get here. We made a stop at wal-mart to get a few supplies not much. We will be back in the great U.S.A. by Monday p.m.. So, I told Jim lets walk to this store called the Bulk Barn to get some things I wanted to pick up. I (like a dummy) said lets walk it only about 3 blocks. LIAR,LIAR It was more like 11 blocks, it was hot as heck. But, we stop at the Goodwill store, Had lunch at a new restaurant along the way. And, like my wonderful LOVE said "I will help you care the bag". It was only about 15#'s . Thanks HONEY I Love ya. We had a great time in this town. Racing was fantastic, saw some old friends and met some new friends. It went real smooth. Just had a flat on the trailer ! Back again got that done. Got up early to go to the Hampton's and breakfast. Check out the shops and walk the beach. Then left at 12:30 to head for the Whales tour, was at 2p.m.. Check pictures on facebook and shutterfly under diamondjimracing.com.. They were so cool to watch them jumping and feeding. We saw about 9 different whales. I just didn't want to come back. The pictures are awesome!! If only i had a digital camera. Today we went to the science hall to see some other exhibits about whales. Then went to see Hampton's again, stayed to hear the band that they had tonight. I keep telling Jim i could hear the whales calling my name to " come back, come back" like on the titanic. ha ha But naturally Jim couldn't hear a thing. Wednesday we did (I did) laundry. Jim walked the town and visited the historic house and was talking to the lady there. Told her what we do, and then i got to meet her and we talk about the town. We meet 1 of the locals that his family has lived there since 1772. It was his birthday, 92 years young, said he had to get his new glasses before he went for his driving test. We drove around to look at some of the other little towns. Came home early, we go see the Whales on Thursday. will continue ww

We got here yesterday a.m. Jim made me sleep in a Flying J (he is such a "Bad Boy") . The track here is very nice, they have little towns connected with lots of trees and mountains between. 1st place we went to was good old wal-mart. Picked up supplies and came back home to unload. We then went to the beach in the Hampton's. Talk about some old beautiful houses they are just Gorgeous. But, its a tourist trap. Lots of stores with nick-knacks. K.C. and The Sunshine Band is going to be playing at the park on Saturday (darn can't go) we race that night. Jim had some real good calm chowder!!! Going back to explore what else there is to see. Canada to New Hampshire !!!

Yeah !!! Were head back to the good oh "U.S.A." just for the week then back to Canada. Racing went very good this weekend. It rain Friday all day, but on Saturday it was nice we ran about 6 p.m... We then had the steak BBQ with the fixing and a band that played till 1a.m. It rained Sunday a.m. it didn't look to good but, then it turned out to be a beautiful day we got our pass in about 6:30p.m.. Hey everyone were back in Sudbury for a day then we head up to Elliot Lake, Ontario. St.Thomas was great the weather was fantastic. Got all the pass in, Jim went real fast on one of the passes. Maverick is doing real good with the Jr dragster. The new clutch is making him go faster now. He started out at 14:60, at 38 miles, now he is at 13:70 at 43 miles. So he is going a little faster. But he loves it!!! You all will have to check out the Diamond Jim Racing web site to see the new car. I will try to write again, not having Internet all the time isn't fun. We had our race in Luskville, and North Bay it went real good. Now we will head for Elliot Lake, Ontario for the weekend there. Maverick is going to a science camp here. He is really enjoying that. Luskville racing over!!

Had a great time racing this weekend at Luskville. We will leave on Wednesday to Ottawa to another track to display the car. Then we head for North Bay, Ontario. It was quit busy with Jim in the jet . and Maverick in the Jr. dragster. All of the 3 runs that Jim made in the jet went great. Maverick's got to make 3 passes after we had to replace the clutch. Then on today Jim put April in the jet to let her get the feel of the jet car. She was so excited about the power she had with the fire and smoke coming out the back. Will write more later. We went to Ottawa to see the sight and sounds. Went to the children's museum, to see the imax Under the Sea. That was awesome it was the 1st time we saw it. After that fun day !!! Racing has begun!!!!!

Well we are back from flying everywhere and now we just had our 1st race in Grand Bend,Canada.. We ran twice on Saturday and once on Sunday. Maverick got to make passes on Friday and Saturday. Then when he was getting ready to run on Sunday morning the clutch broke. So now we have to wait till the next track for some friends to bring a new one for him. Well there has just been to much going on here. I am in Washington State now and will be going back to Illinois. Then we will be going back to Canada for the racing season to begin. Will try to keep up now that things will be slowing down. Be cool, and well in life. Jim and WW

Not to much going on. Jim's working on getting the car ready for the new paint design. Can't wait to see it!! I have been seeing all the friends and going to rummage sales a little. Catching up on things to do in Delila. And getting all the racing stuff back into her. We went to dinner with a few of our friends. That was nice,we hadn't seen them for a while. We just left April's and now on the way to Illinois. We have lots of work to do there. We had a great time with Maverick's 1st Communion. We took him out for breakfast of his choice (Denny's). He did a good job he got to take the host up with the girl with the wine. The priest is real nice and his robe that he wears has lambs on it with the kids name and date of the 1st Communion. Now we get ready for Delani's baptism. We will do this in Illinois, all the family is there and know one has seen her. I will be seeing you all soon. So don't be surprised. Jim and WW

Happy May Day my friends. Sorry that i haven't written in such a long time. But the kids were down then we had some friends down all at the same time. And then had to quick get packed to come back. So we are back in the states now. We came back at the right time. Now we are at April's in Georgia and will be going back to Illinois on Monday. Then the work begins when we get there. Boy this next week Jim and i won't know what to do. We have April, Ben, Maverick and Delani coming in on Thursday a.m. so we are getting excited to see them. Then on Friday we have Micheal and Carrie coming in at a.m.. So we have, oh take that back i have been cleaning to get ready. Then Saturday we are going to have our Open House Fiesta. Monday we did nothing but goof around and then went to Vallarta. Juan called and said that he had a painting done for us and to see if we could pick it up. So, Otto, Maria and us went 1st to Costco and then to see Juan. The painting is beautiful. If you check on the shutter fly you would see it. I am baking a cake for Ben now so he will have something from home that he likes. He is coming from Afghanistan now. So he will love some home cooking. Wednesday i went out with the girls, we went to Pitallal to look for some material for some curtains. We then went to look for some jewelry for Maria B, sat at the plaza and had some fresh fruit to eat. We walk around town a little, then went to Vallarta to walk the malacon. Look at some paint that were on the walk way. We went to a new Chinese restaurant. The food was good. After took a walk to see what Woolworth's and Lans had new. Really it was hot so we went in there to cool off!!! Came home and Otto invited us over for chix. Thursday went to Irma so she could help me make the invitation for the Open House that we are going to have on Saturday. We then went to deliver them and ended up at the ranch for a corn and tamale roast. Friday and Saturday did nothing but look at each other. Today we went to church and then to Wayland's to eat and we will deliver some more invitation's. Well friends have a great day. Jim and WW

Well the cookies got done and Otto came over to have some with Jim. We then had to wait for the plumber to come over to fix the hot water in the bathroom. It wasn't coming out at all. He came and what happen was there was air in the line. Jim just didn't let it run out long enough. The charge was a beer for him to repair it. Today we just or, Jim just painted. I did some work on the posters for school and looked for some pictures. Tomorrow i will go out with the girls into P.V. to eat and go shopping. So stay warm and talk to you later. Jim and WW

Saturday we goofed around the house and rested for the fiesta that night. We left at 3p.m. to go help them with the party decorations. The dance all night and had a great time. Didn't get home till 2 a.m.. Sunday we just hung around the house and Otto and Maria M. came over for a little while. Then we just did nothing and i mean nothing. Today we aren't doing much just tinkering. I am going to make some oatmeal cookies for my big kid. The days are just wonderful here. No stress, just sit back and enjoy the breeze and the sky. Hola Friday

Hola yesterday we went into town to get food and supplies for Jim. Then Otto and Maria M came over for a cook out. Maria had some rib eyes and we had T-bones. So we each had our meats and then just cook some side dishes together, while the men just talked. Its more pleasant with 4 people eating them just 2. Today i went Itzel school play. She was a rabbit. I then came home and Jim was doing a little project that he was working on. Then at 5:30 we went to eat with Otto and Maria to our friends restaurant to eat fish. I am going to make a cake tonight for us to have for dessert, Otto really likes desserts. Tomorrow we have to got to a fiesta for a 15 birthday party. Well hope your weather is good soon!! Today was Bob's and Patrick b-day. Called to wish them a special day. Sunday we went to church had a new priest. There were about 9 baby's to be baptized. Just hung around the house to rest for or friends to come in on Monday. Monday Sandra,Robert,John and Suzy came in on the ship for the day. We picked them up at 8am and went to see Wayland and Aruna, after that took then to Punta Mita, then to Sayulita had lunch there. Then took them back to the ship at 4:30. We had a great time and was glad to see them. Tuesday the kids came by and brought a chicken for lunch. We them just talk about how they were doing and played with the little one. I then watched Dancing with the Stars, and Jim and Itzel were hungry so we have pancakes for supper that's what she wanted. We then took them home and we came home. Today Maria M, Maria B. and I went to Pitallial to go look for material for curtains but they didn't have any more till 10 days. We pick up other stuff and then came home. Otto and Maria M. came over for chicken George. Thursday we are going to have a cook out with them. So stay warm. Jim and WW

Just been lazy ???

Hola Amigos Sorry that i haven't kept you up to date. Just been lazy about getting on the computer. But since Bob left on the 4Th. Friday we went to our friends Chuy's house to have a little get together . Then on Saturday Maria, Otto and us went to eat on the beach for early supper, then went to walk the malecon and see the show with clowns. Sunday went to church had breakfast. Came home and then later,Maria, Otto, Jim and I went to Gustavo's ranch for Amelia's birthday party. We had a great time there and then went to Chuy's house they were having a birthday party for one of our friends. So we didn't get home till late. Wednesday the girls and i went to Punta Mita (that is the beach at the tip of the bay) to go swimming and have some lunch. We then walked the town and it checked out. Thursday was Chuy's birthday called to wish him a happy birthday, then at 8:30 p.m. they called to have a little get together and have some tacos for supper. Friday evening Maria, Otto and us went to Outback to eat salmon and other seafood to eat. After that went to the malecon, they were having a singing contest for kids 20 and under. Some of those kids can really sing. We then went to see Juan and Anna introduced them to Maria and Otto. Saturday so far i had a pedicure and made lunch. Jim is out back making more furniture. But i promise i will write tomorrow to let you know what goes on. So my friends stay warm if you still need to. and talk to you later. Jim and WW

Bob flew back home

Sunday we went to church and Bob walked the beach. Then we went to Waylands for breakfast and listen to some music. That evening Bob took us out to eat at a restaurant on the beach. Monday took him to the airport at 7am. After that Jim and I went to the marina ,and walked it then went to eat at Mr. Creams. Stayed at home that evening. Monday we just relaxed and did nothing. Otto and Maria came over we sat in the back yard. Then went to Maria's to get her supper and ate our house. Just sat around again and talked. Tuesday Jim did some work and i did a little. I cooked and then Maria and Otto came over and we all ate together. Our other friends Juan and Anna came over for supper that night. We cooked out with the meal that they brought over. We had a great time they had not seen the house yet and they liked it. Wednesday the hot water heater broke so that will be another project for Jim to work on tomorrow. Otto and Maria took me to Costco to look for a plant and to shop around. we stopped at Home Depot for Otto to get some stuff, then came home. Tonight we just had left overs for supper. Jim went to get Wayland and Arulna to bring them to the house to see what we done to the house. They haven't seen it since Thanksgiving. After they got here and saw the house we went to San Vincente to Fidels to eat. It was Wayland, Arulna, Otto, Maria, Bob, Jim and I we all had a great time there. After that Jim took them back home. Thursday and Friday

Thursday was the last day that the workers worked. Now we can sleep a little later with out hammering or banging. We took them home to take all the equipment home. Then we took them out to eat at their sisters restaurant. Boy did Bob have a good time Friday it was a family place, we had Irma come down to that, is her sister, also. So we filled up the place with all of us there. We got home about 11:30p.m.. Then on Friday we sleeped in late and then went to the store to pick up some groceries. Then we came home and went to Wayland's to listen to a Salsa band and have dinner. Bob, Otto, Maria, and Jim and I. The food was great and the music was very good to listen to. Friends come to visit!!!

Our friend Nascar Bob is down from Canada. He came in on Monday evening, took him to see the beach and show him the town a little. Tuesday he wanted to take a easy and do a little tanning. We went to Hidden Paradise to eat supper on the beach, Bob ate red snapper on the grill. He really enjoyed that Jim had the seafood kabob, I had the coconut shrimp. Wednesday i went out on the town with the girls on "Our Girls Day Out" we did a lot of walking. Took the bus to Pitallial then looked for some little crosses. Walk to eat Chinese food. from there we took the bus to downtown and walked the malcon. Went to church to get our ashes. Went to the mall to get a phone repaired and then picked up a few groceries had to be careful we were riding the bus. We got home about 6p.m. Jim and Bob went to the Terminator and the tequila factory. Ate at the beach saw the spot wear the "Night of the Iguana" was filmed. They came home and then we went to walk the malcon at night. Ate at the Paradise Burger then went to Cheeky Monkey's for some drinks. My dogs were real tried from walking so much. One Week!!!

Slow week just been work on little things here. Wednesday went to a little birthday party for a little while. Saturday night went to sell t-shirts for the fundraiser at the orphanage. Came home late and then had to get ready because we are going to have some friends over for a little picnic. This time we had lots of fun and drank lots of tequila. We started had 1:30 and every one left at 8:30. Tomorrow Nascar Bob will be coming in from Canada to spend a week with us . So we will be acting like we are on vacation.
