Fiesta on the ranch

Yesterday was a little busy.  We went to the store to shop for our share to take to the fiesta.  Then came home and went to church lucky we had no baptisms.  Have a quick breakfast, then came home.  Jim stayed home to watch his bears game, i went with my friend Maria to the flea market on sunday to see what was new and cheap.  Then we left at 3:30 to go to the fiesta we partied there till 2:30a.m.  So needless to say we sleeped in this morning.  Which is good because we will be out late tonight.  May everyone have a great New Years Eve !!!!!!!   Stay warm or cool where ever you are.  Jim and W.W.

Merry Christmas

Hola my friends and family.  I hope that everyone had a great Christmas!!!  Ours was quiet we had a pot luck dinner here at the r.v.park.  It was quit well lots of french foods with the Canadians that live here.  We are the only Americans here. Yesterday i went to the orphans to take some clothes to the child.  They were very happy to get some new clothes.  OH!  i forgot i went to my little school in El Tonturoque to take the kids school supplies and they had a little Christmas party before they went on vacation.  Some of the older children remember me from last year and were happy to see me.  That felted real good to give each child some supplies.  Today we went to dinner with some of our friends at her house.  Tomorrow we are going to another friends ranch to have a pre new years eve fiesta.  Well take care and stay warm or cool where ever you live. computer not fixed

Hola my friends well i Finally got down to the computer store. Not much has been going on. We have been to 3 Christmas party's  with lots of food and tequila. Two weeks ago we went to a baptism of one of the couples wedding that we went to last year they had their first baby. At that baptism they were 13 baby's that day. Last week we had 6 baby's and today we had 9 baby's. The way they do it here is while the mass is going. And then they throw money out to the people that were there.  We don't get home till 12:30 or 4:15 a.m.  We went to the December meet for the Port of Ladies and they had lots of gifts to give away. My new friend from Quebec won they prize.  We had lots of fun there. well i will try to get back to mailing soon. But everyone have a great holiday.  Luv Jim and W.W.

Hola everyone well the computer broke. So i have to walk to the corner to use one if it is not in use.  But we final got settled in and ever thing is in tack. We have visited our friends and been to a few fiestas. Last sunday the 18 when we went to church they had 9 baby's that were baptized.  This sunday we had none.  But tuesday we went to the horse races.  Its like drag racing one on one.  And talk about biding they do that like crazy.  Thursday we did not have turkey. But we went to the malcon to watch all the marcharic  play. It was the night that they all get together and play they take turns. Then friday i went to a breakfast with the women to the harbor port women. It was at the naval base here. Its a breakfast that they have once a month to help children pay for medicine who cant pay for it.  I was miss social butterfly again.  Saturday my neighbor had a fiesta and we meet the captain of the harbor master port, and his assist. Along with the brother of the assist who runs a towing service.  So we are meeting more people here in Bucerica which is good.  Well hopefully the computer will be done by tuesday then i can make daily inputs.  Take care for now my friends and family.  Stay tune for more.  Jim and W.W.

Monday were HERE!!!

Hey we are here in Mexico. Are trip was good we had no problems crossing the border.  They let Jim back in(ha,ha).  The 1st night we stayed at a Premex which is a gas station. This is the only name of the gas stations in Mexico. There are no others like the U.S.  We then had our 1st tacos at the street stand.  I wasn't quit sure if i wanted to eat there because the sign said "Tacos DE Burro"  well i didn't want tacos from donkey.  So i asked the guy if he had other meat? He told me this meat was good. But i said i didn't donkey meat!  All the people there laughed.  Its a style of a burrito they forgot the rest of the spelling. It turned out it was cow meat which is o.k.. Then Sunday we start our journey again about 3 hours out i saw a guy with fresh squeeze orange juice so i had to have that. Then i knew that we were finally here.  We arrived in Pto. Vallarta on monday evening and parked by our friends house and will be getting ready by thursday to make home base at the campground. Came out today to see all the friends and tell them hola and see how things are going.  They have builded so much here in the pass 6 months. O.K. will write more later can't tell you everything in 1 sitting. Just happy to be here.   Jim and W.W.

New Park,Casa Grande, Az.

Hey everyone, o.k. we left Sam's Town in Vegas on Thursday morning and got to Casa Grande.Az.  It is very nice here. They have all kinds of things to do. I went and 11a.m. to do water aerobic, and then at 1p.m. they had arts and crafts to make an angel that's right up my alley.  We will be leaving on saturday for Mexico. Stratoshere hotel

Monday we went to the Stratosphere hotel it was just Awesome!!!!!  It is 1800 feet high. It was beautiful to see the city lights from the top level. BUT they have 3 rides up there on the 1600 foot they have a half a roller coaster ride that goes over the LEDGE of the tower.  And a twirler that swings you out over the EDGE of the tower. Then on the peak  of the tower 1800' high on the tower they have a ride that huges the tower and drops 200' down.  That ones not to bad.  We went to see the Nathan Burton Comedy Magic show this guy is GREAT!!! After that we had supper at the Planet Hollywood hotel, the biggest buffet that they have here.  They are so many different buffets here. That the different foods or just over welmean.  Tuesday is just a day to relax and go in the pool and spa. See you next time.  Jim and W.W.

Relax a little

Sunday we went to all the other hotels that we need to see.  There were so many beautiful colors  and decorations. We just took it easy all the running around was kind of catching up to us.  We went to the Mandalay Bay hotel,went thought the shark display. This was so cool, it was like the Jaws lll movie with the glass tube thought the water and the sharks just swimming around you.  And to see the different fish that they had in there.  Next walking to the Luxor that's the pyramid one that was beautiful. All in Egypt deco with the brick walls with writing  and drawing on them. We then went to the King Tut Tomb to see display of articles that they have there.  Did you know that he had two babies that were stillborn?  They had the little coffins there in his tomb so they would be there eternal. More walking to the Excalibur this was very nice to see all the castles that they have there with all the costumes and deco to go with it. Stay tune for monday's adventure.  Jim and W.W.

Hoover Dam and Grand Cayon

OK friday a.m. did laundry got ready to move to new r.v. park. We will be going to Sam's Town its a little closer to the strip. After getting settled we went to the strip and came home early because saturday we are going on a tour to see Hoover Dam,Grand Canyon. Saturday at 4:15 up to catch a taxi to the Hotel to get on the big bus.  Were on the road at 6a.m. got a little breakfast stopped at the Dam got a few pictures. That is just beautiful to see but you can see how far the water has gone down.  Then to the town of KIngsman to make a potty stop and gab a snack to eat. Now 2:30 to Grand Canyon grab some lunch ,Jim had a surprise we went on the helicopter ride into the canyon it was fanatic's the view was once in a life time to see.  After that we went to another part of the canyon and got some pictures there had some ice cream and headed back home.  We didn't get home till 10:30 so we were a little bushed, we will sleep in tomorrow. STOMP OUT LOUD

Oh my gosh this show was so great!!!  It just wants to make you bang on trash cans, pots and pans, plastic bottles anything that makes noise. After that we went to see the Eiffel Tower. And then to eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville,talk about partying we didn't leave there till 2:45a.m..  Then we took the deuce bus home and had some real crazy people on there. Witches and Warlocks Out

We got up real early today, we went to the SEMA  show.  Where manufacturer and supplier display they new products for racing.  We walked almost thought most of it. There were over 550,000 displays to walk thought. Talk about real dogs barking. Then after that we walked the strip a little and grabed a quick sandwich to eat and then just hung around to watch the ghouls come out. You talk about  some costumes here.  Then we came back to the casino by the house and went to eat at one of the buffets.  Then sat out on Fremont and listened to the band danced a little and watched more people in costumes.  We saw one guy with his son both ever big belly's in diapers is booty's on their feet they look like BIG fat baby's. Lots of little kids to. Being Thursday we will make it light night we are going to see  Stomp  the show and get dinner. Stay tune for more. Jim and W.W.

Dogs are howling

Today we caught the bus, rode around stopped at the Fashion Center(it's a mall) to look for batteries for camera. But no such luck. We then went to eat at the Rainforest at the MGM, it was very nice. Walked the whole hotel and went to the M&M store they have 4 floors of M&M candy stuff there. Only thing is they want $9.00 a # for loose candy. Then off to the Coke Cola store only 2 floors there but lots of old product to see.  Then we got hooked to go to a timeshare tomorrow, and we get a buffet and a show.  We have to meet early. So we are coming home early. BIG day tomorrow.  Now the bus home we saw some of the Bellgio hotel waters that dance to music.That was beautiful.  Good night and see you wednesday.   Jim and W.W.

Vegas 2nd night

Oh my i forgot to tell you about the night that we drove in saturday night, we could see the lighted sky from 75 miles away.  It was so bright with a few cloud the lights just glowed.  Ok monday what a day we bought a bus pass for 24 hours.  You get to ride on the deuce bus and what a ride.  we sat up on top in front so we saw everything.  The price we had to pay was, the village bum was there to. Talk about stories this guy give all the new people that got on. We took the bus ride all the way to the end then back and stop to check out the Circus Circus hotel, saw a little act that they have on the 2nd floor. All the lights and the dinging on bells inside you could never go to sleep.  Then off to Treasure Island we saw the two pirate ships fight and the one sank (half way) but it we great all the fireworks, smoke, lights and action. Way thought and so many pretty things to see. They already have Christmas decorations up. Oh to have some on that in my house!!!!! Off to the Mirage thats where the volcano goes up.  More lights smoke and lots of fire. The inside was fantastic, the aquarium was down to remodeling. Well next time. Walking, walking, walking on to the Venetian this is one glamorous hotel, they have the gondolas there and the water is light blue crystal clear.  You got inside and there is lots of money here.  But to go where there have to walk way that one minute you are outside in the dark and the next in the hotel you are in day lite.  The ceiling is a dome and it is painted like the sky with lights behind it and as you walk the sky looks like its moving.  It is just beautiful.  I like that place oh, we got to see a bride and groom there..Next to the Casino Royale more lights and more coupons, you can get free tokens to gamble here. This is one of the old places but stills looks very good and lots of action here to.   We have to head home now to recuperate till tomorrow.   Jim and W.W.

Were here in vegas!!!!

Thursday the 25th we went to the Ozark's to see some old friends of ours that moved there from Sterling,IL.. It  was great to see Jack and Phyllis,it has been about 9 years the last time we saw them. Camped out by their boat house and stayed with them and caught up on old times and new ones.  It was just so relaxing to be there and have a little down time. Then we left there friday after 3p.m. to head for Vegas. Our friends Scott and Laura called and said that they were in Vegas. So we put the pedal to the medal. We got to Vegas on saturday about 9:30p.m.  called Scott and met with them, because you come to the city that people don't sleep so you can call them anytime.  We went out to a buffet place to eat and to see what they have done,gambled a little and didn't get home till 2:45a.m.. Got up sunday late and met we friends to go to race track, We had great seats was able to see everything with no problem. This was my 2nd National event that i have been to.  I like this one best. We got back and then went to another buffet place and talk about some gooood food.  After that to the tables and slot machines, i did try something different to night the wheel with money on it and they spin it and you put the money on the table that you want to win. I did good for the 1st time, played with 10.00 got up to 27.00 and lost all but 2.00 and gave that for the tip. So know telling whats going to happen today.  But let me tell you,  you can walk your butt off out here..And your dogs bark, but you just keep walking.  You know bite the bullet.  Have to go now. head'em up move'em out

OK i guess i best stop doing typing at night . If you read the last update i forget to fix Garlits museum ,  and on them instead of they o well if you know me I'm not a good speller but you will get what i mean.  So to go on to our trip we had a quick party on monday with friends, went to bed to go ever thing loaded, and left Sterling to start our adventures.  First stop Ft. Leonard Wood to see Tiffany before we leave and then the circle is complete we have see all the kids and taking them out to dinner. Till next year.  Then Thursday we leave to LAS VEGAS!!!  I have never been there so it will be exciting to see all the lights and people.Thinking of all of you .    Jim and  W.W.

on the road again

Well talk about being gypsy, thats Jim and I.  We left monday to go to Florida to pick up some parts. Got there did our thing left wednesday 2p.m. . Stop to see Big Daddy Garlits meunmens.  Had a good time checking out all the old race cars. Then on to see Maverick, April, and Ben in Georiga.. We got there wednesday midnite. Went  friday to Maverick 1st homecoming football game, his team was the half time show.  They look so cute on that big field, and  tiny against the senior team they got to run down the field and bust thought the big banner with them.  They won that game.  Jim and I had lunch with him on thursday and friday.  We got to seat in the little bitty chairs and talk to the kids.  We handed out pictures of the race car to his class and they got to ask questions and Mave had to answer they and didn't give Jim a chance to answer. Went saturday morning to a rummage sale and then to the football game, they lost this one. And now we are heading back to Sterling to load up and head out to Vegas and Mexico on tuesday morning.  Wait to see what happens next.   Jim and W.W.

getting close

Well its getting time for us to be getting ready to head out, so this week has been nothing but get loose ends tied up.  Saturday was nice because we went to Sycamore to see the ojiwbe indians do their dances and show us different cultures.  Thats what Jim has running in him.  Ay that why he is always on an rampage Ha,Ha,   Sunday went to church  had breakfast had  Red Apple to see more friends and talk to them wish them happy early holidays.  Well tune in to see what else happens.  Luv  Jim and W.W.

princeton, ohio, easton

Hey folks, Well monday we went to pick up our new scooter in Princeton.  We had lots of fun with it that day, Now how will it so on the sand?  Tuesday went ot Malvern,Oh. to pick up an engine, and have to get a hotel room for over night to watch Dancing with the Stars. You know some day Jim and I will be Fred and Ginger with our Salsa lessons that we take. (ya right, who do i think were full'in)!!  We had a great trip back we stopped at R.V. museum it was kool to see the old time r.v. that they made.  Now were in Easton to visit with Karren and George.  Went to Petersburg to see the Lincoln museum. It was real fasintated to see the log homes that they lived in.  The one log building was used has a church and school house.  They were all heated with old chimmeys and had  very lumpy beds. It has been a nice quiet week. What will happen next week who knows. talk to you all later,  luv Jim and W.W.

this week

Friday the 28th i got up early a.m. Isabel and I went to Chicago to pick up a friend that was coming into town at ohare. Then we took her to the city to show her what it look like.  You talk about walking we did that a lot , along with getting lost in the big city!!! But we had lots of fun.  Then we went shopping for the bargins. All summer clothes are on sale now so we had to get them.  They dropped me of at DeKalb and Jim and I were going to Patrick house to see the family.  So we went to dinner ,late because the bargins were just to good.  But then saturday we went to Ryan's birthday party at an arcade place that was great. We played lots of gun fighting.We had pizza and cake. Then we went back to the house and talk played with kids went to supper, and watched a movie.  Then the kids had to go to Sterling to meet Karren.  So then sunday  we went to Havard to see Father Paul at St. Joesph at church it was great to hear him at church then we walked into had breakfast and came back to Sterling to see Karren. LaSalle-Peru

Today we came to Mike and Carrie and kids to spend time with them and learn more on the computer. We went to Red Lobster for lunch the endless shrimp meal. Just all excited about that, then come to find out that the coconut shrimp was not part of that . But we had a great time.. The boys get to watch football while the women watch the kids. And i get to cook some Mexican food (god help these people).
